چکیده
The patient was a 16-year-old girl. She noticed gradual increase in the size of skin mass on right posterior neck and observed redness 1 month prior to visiting our department. 4 cm size, dome-shaped, side neck. Ultrasound images showed well-defined oval heterogeneous isoechoic mass. interior rich blood flow with some coarse calcifications. Magnetic resonance imaging uniform hypointensity T1-weighted variable hyperintensity superficial layers T2-weighted images. On basis these findings, solitary fibrous tumor suspected. resected at proximal margin under general anesthesia. erythematous, overlying partially adherent fascia. diagnosed as calcified epithelioma.Solitary tumors are histologically fibroblastic mesenchymal neoplasms, which include hemangiopericytomas. Generally, arise within thoracic cavity, but few cases have been reported subcutaneous soft tissue. We encountered epithelioma that we suspected be imaging. Because similar rare, report this case along literature review.

Solitary Fibrous Tumor of the Lung: A Case Report
Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is a rare mesenchymal tumor of the pleura, which arises from visceral pleura and projects into the pleural cavity. This tumor is not related to asbestos exposure or cigarette smoking (1). We report a rare case of SFT of the lung. In this case report, we present the case of a giant SFT in a 76-year-old woman who presented with the complaint of chest pain on the left...

Introduction: Solitary fibrous tumor is a rare, mesenchymal neoplasm that has been reported in numerous sites. Occurrence in the parotid gland is exceedingly rare. Case Report: A 53-year-old man with a 2 cm solitary fibrous tumor of the left parotid gland, that was observed clinically and operatively and thought to be a neoplasm arising from Stensen's duct, is described. A pre-operative CT sc...

BACKGROUND AND AIM: Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) is a quite uncommon tumor that commonly occurs in the pleura but occasionally involves an oral cavity. We are reporting this rare case in the oral cavity. The diagnosis depends on microscopic and immunohistochemical features. Patients with these tumors can be carefully treated with local excision, but tumors with...
متن کاملSolitary Fibrous Tumor of the Prostate: A Diagnostic Challenge: A Case Report
Solitary fibrous tumor (SFT) of prostate is an unusual type of mesenchymal neoplasm that can elicit a benign or malignant phenotype. It represents a diagnostic challenge as it can simulate poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma and various mesenchymal neoplasms of prostate. We report a case of prostate SFT in a 54-year-old patient, which was clinically misdiagnosed as nodular hyperplasia of prost...
متن کاملA case of orbital solitary fibrous tumor.
BACKGROUND Solitary fibrous tumor is a spindle cell neoplasm that most commonly arises in the pleura and very rarely involves the orbit. CASE A 38-year-old woman presented with slowly progressive proptosis of 3 months duration and optic nerve head edema in her right eye. Magnetic resonance imaging revealed a well-circumscribed, round mass lesion, which showed isointensity to the gray matter i...
